Voodoo Security In Second Life is a griefing system. If you want to know why then watch this video.
Voodoo Security in Second Life describes itself as an anti-griefing system but, the truth is, Voodoo Security itself is a griefing system.
I will use myself as an example, I've never griefed anyone in Second Life but, for some reason, my name was maliciously added into Voodoo's so called Ban List. Who added me? I have no freaking idea and that's where and when Voodoo becomes a griefing system.
It's being used by malicious people or avatars as a griefing tool in Second Life and apparently I am not alone because other avatars have been added to Voodoo's Ban List for reasons they themselves don't know.
Anyway, I'm 100% sure that these regions that use the Voodoo Griefing System are not worth any of my precious time but I'm going to share them to you whenever I discover one so you guys can protect yourself from them.

- If you absolutely need security in Second Life then simply search the Marketplace and you'll find lots of them or you can use the free Security Script found in the Wiki (http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Security_Orb).

ReplyDeleteAs I commented at YouTube this VooDoo Security is much like what we can see more and more in RL too. A vicious AI device that is ruling about Justice, and in SL above LL.
By Allowing this device, LL is actually exposing herself to be less able than a third party to protect us against griefers. Also LL shows that she allow third parties to rule over her own ToS.
