Second Life Jousting At Realm Of Fairport
Second Life Jousting is a form of jousting held in the virtual world of Second Life. Second Life jousting has the same mechanics as jousting in the real world. Two men on horses, each carrying a lance on one hand, rides toward each other attempting to hit or knock each other off their horses.

From how I understand it, jousting is like a sport during medieval times but, since I'm not an expert in jousting, you'll just have to do your own research about the subject. My knowledge of jousting came from watching movies like A Knight's Tale and television shows like Merlin.
In Second Life jousting, participants also ride horses, they also carry a lances and they also attempt to hit or knock their opponents off their horses. The only difference is, none of them will ever get hurt in Second Life Jousting. Of course, the experience won't be the same as real life jousting but, visually, it's somewhat close.
If you are interested in Second Life Jousting then you can check out Realm of Fairport in Second Life. It has a medieval theme and it has a Second Life Jousting event scheduled regularly. I'm just not sure if it's scheduled weekly or daily but, if you want to get informed or updated about it then you can always join its group.
I took some video clips of one of its Second Life Jousting Events and uploaded it to YouTube. Unfortunately, the framerate of the video isn't very good. For some reason, my framerate always goes down whenever I record a video from Second Life.
