Dolphin Viewer, It's Not A Fish

LOL! Dolphins are not fish, they're mammals. The same goes with the Dolphin Viewer, it's also not a fish but a Third Party Second Life Viewer based on Henri Beauchamp's Cool VL Viewer (Snowglobe Edition). The Dolphin Viewer is being developed and maintained by a Second Life resident named Lance Corrimal.

I first learned about the Dolphin Viewer by reading a thread about it at SLUniverse.com and since I love trying out new viewers, I downloaded, installed and ran it on my computer. Fortunately, I did not encounter any problems running it on my Celeron D computer. Now, if it ran on my low-end "made of wood" computer then the chance that it will ran on your high-end "made of platinum" computer is very high.

Features

As for features, I would say that it has all of the Cool VL Viewer's features with some addition and changes made to it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to check them all but the ones I immediately noticed were the following:

The Dolphin Viewer is not as feature rich as the Phoenix Viewer but since it is a fork of the Cool VL Viewer, I would assume that it carried with it the same stability the Cool VL Viewer is well known for. Who needs lots of features if you can't even stay logged in long enough to enjoy them. LOL!
