Wrestling In Second Life, United Honor Wrestling
Recently, I got a chance to visit United Honor Wrestling in Second Life and I was lucky enough to catch one of its shows. It was a wrestling show like no other wrestling show because it was happening in the virtual world of Second Life.
The show was already at the later stage of the first match when I got there. I wasn't really there to watch the show. I was there simply to check out the place and write something about it on my blogs but I got to watch a show and it's definitely an added bonus.
The first match was a women's wrestling match and it was between (correct me if I'm wrong) Sara and Sierra. I didn't get to see the entire match but, from what I saw, the movements of the wrestlers weren't fluid and the animations were out of sync.
Don't get me wrong. The performers weren't at fault here. They're doing their best but Second Life is a very laggy place and it will mess with anyone's animations or movements.
Anyway, I did find the match decent and it got me interested to stay and watch the other matches. The second match was a women's wrestling match too and it was between Trisha Stratus and Maxine but I'll talk about it in a later post.
For those interested in watching wrestling in Second Life, go to United Honor Wrestling at Virtual World Network (91,14).
